No matter what you’re looking for in a menu, we strive to serve every patron who walks through our doors. What would a vegan night out at Bucceto’s look like? Our Italian restaurants in Bloomington are prepared with:
- Fresh salad options – If you’re looking for a starter, there’s nothing better than one of our fresh salads. Not just for our vegan customers, it’s a fan-favorite starter for anyone of any dietary need. Our dressings are house made, our vegetables impossibly fresh, and our serving sizes are perfect for getting your appetite ready for the main course.
- Vegan pizza – Our vegan pizza is a new star of our menu! This pizza starts with our gluten-free crust (our traditional crust uses a touch of honey in its recipe.) This crust is made with rice flour, keeping it wholesome and flavorful, and it boasts the same satisfying crunch as our traditional crust option.
On this crust we use our Bucceto’s tomato sauce instead of our traditional pizza sauce. Our pizza sauce uses a little pinch of parmesan cheese, making it not friendly for a vegan menu option, so we’ve opted to use our tomato sauce instead. You’ll find you get the same brightness, the same zest, and the same sweetness you come to expect from a great pizza sauce, but without any of the dairy.
Topping the sauce is our vegan cheese blend. We’ve tried and tested various non-dairy cheese to find a blend that’s just right, and we think we’ve hit the ball out of the park with the mixture we’ve selected! You’ll find you get the same comforting flavor, stretch, and salt you’re looking for when you’re craving a classic pie.
Where our vegan pizzas really shine is in the toppings. We have dozens to choose from, complete with plenty of vegan-friendly options. You can always customize your vegan pizza to suit any craving you may have.
