How We Began
Bucceto’s story begins with another pizza place called Puccini’s Smiling Teeth. Puccini’s first opened its doors in a neighborhood called Greenbriar in Indianapolis, and soon after they opened their doors in 1991 they were declared one of the best restaurants in town by the Indianapolis Star. This was thanks to Puccini’s wide variety of topping choices, its excellent specialty pizzas, and the amazing pastas and salads they had to offer. The restaurant was so successful that the owners soon opened up other locations in Indianapolis, in West Lafayette, Indiana, and even over in Lexington, Kentucky.
Puccini’s also helped to create Bucceto’s Smiling Teeth. As sister restaurants, Bucceto’s borrows most of the menu (along with most of the name) from Puccini’s, and we operate out of two Bloomington locations. This gives us great service coverage for people looking for Bloomington food delivery.
