Where We Come From
The story of Bucceto’s begins in Indianapolis, with our sister restaurant called Puccini’s Smiling Teeth. Puccini’s first opened its doors in 1991 in a lively neighborhood called Greenbriar, and it wasn’t long before they got top marks from the food critic of the Indianapolis Star. The critic praised the restaurant not just for its pizza options but for offering some excellent salad options and impressive pasta list. Puccini’s is a true Italian restaurant, and thanks to the great food they offer the owners went on to open new locations in West Lafayette, Indiana, and Lexington, Kentucky.
Bucceto’s wouldn’t be who we are without Puccini’s. Our names might be different, but we share the same great recipes that put Puccini’s on the map. We’ve also opened our own additional locations, so right now you can find Bucceto’s in Bloomington.
