Our Origins
Up in the Greenbriar district of Indianapolis, a pizzeria called Puccini’s Smiling Teeth opened for business in 1991. It quickly drew attention from locals and food critics alike, and the restaurant received praise for its variety of toppings, its tasty salads, and its perfectly cooked pastas. In its first year of operation Puccini’s got the top score from the Indianapolis Star, and in the next few years it would open new locations throughout Indiana and even move into a few neighboring states.
Bucceto’s is a sister restaurant to Puccini’s. While our name is different, our Smiling Teeth and our menus are the same, and just like Puccini’s we want our customers to be so happy with our food that even their teeth have to smile. That means we have the same great salads, hot sandwiches, and Italian dinners, plus we offer the same variety of toppings and gluten free pizza options you can get at any Puccini’s location.
Our Pizza Options
At Bucceto’s Smiling Teeth, we pride ourselves in offering a large selection of toppings. If you look at our menu here on our website, you’ll see our toppings list includes several kinds of vegetables, meats, cheeses, and herbs. We also have a long list of combination pizzas and we’ll let you substitute a topping without any change in price.
One of our top sellers is the Ultimate Warrior combo. It uses a variety of classic toppings like sausage, pepperoni, onions, green peppers, black olives, and mushrooms. However, if you’re looking for a more old-fashioned kind of pizza you might be more interested in in our Margherita, made with fresh tomatoes and garlic, basil, oregano, and fontina cheese. If you’d rather try something new, have a look at our King of Hearts with its capers, whole black olives, mushrooms, bacon, and artichoke hearts. All of these can come with a regular crust or a rice-flour crust for a gluten free pizza.

Bucceto’s Smiling Teeth has more than just gluten free pizza for our customers on a gluten free diet. We have a whole menu full of options like gluten free pasta, sandwiches, salads, and chicken dinners. Of course, even if you’re fine with gluten you can enjoy menu options like our meatball sub, our hot ham and cheese, and our vegetarian-friendly spinach-artichoke sandwich. If you need to keep your carb count down, we also have chicken dinners like chicken Torino, made with pesto, Monterey jack, pecans, bacon, and mushrooms.
Something else you can get at Bucceto’s is a nice calzone. We have several options for calzones like Meatball Heaven, Greek Garden, and the Queen of Hearts, but if you prefer you can make your own and choose up to three toppings to fold into the bread. We also have a nice list of appetizers with Italian classics like bruschetta, scamorza, and garlic bread. However, remember to save some room for dessert since we also carry cheesecake made by the famous Carnegie Deli in New York City and a tiramisu that came straight from Italy.
