Stop In For A Glass Of Wine At Our Italian Restaurant Bloomington Indiana
While it’s not always easy to sip wine on a terrace in Italy, it’s never too tough to get to our Italian restaurant Bloomington, Indiana! At Bucceto’s we value the traditional wine and food pairings of Italy, and while you might not be soaking in the sights of Tuscany, you also don’t need to shell out for an airline ticket to feel like you are. We have wine specials from Sunday through Thursday, including pairings so you can make the most of every bite and every sip.
Sundays are for our Sauvignon Blanc, a traditional dry white that’s a favorite amongst many. Because the Sauvignon Blanc is a lighter white, we love pairing this wine with some of our lighter and more refreshing dishes. For pasta, there’s the Basil Pesto or White Clam Linguini dishes; both are excellent summertime pastas that leave you feeling satisfied and refreshed. If you’re planning to dig into some apps, this is a wine that perfectly matches with our Spinach Artichoke Dip.
On Mondays, we’re serving up our Pinot Grigio. This wine is a white that’s both dry and semi-sweet, so it can stand up to a bit more flavor when compared to the Sauvignon Blanc, but it’s still a refreshing choice. We love pairing this wine with Bruschetta for an appetizer kind of night, the Chicken Piccata with fresh linguine, or the refreshing Pasta Primavera.
We get a little darker on Tuesdays with our Chianti Classico special. For a classic and delicious pairing, there’s our Angel Hair and tomato sauce or our Cheese Pizza. If you’re keeping it simple with an appetizer only night, try the Chianti with a plate of Spicy Meatballs.
Wednesdays bring it back to one of our favorite whites, and our sipping special is for our Chardonnay. Chardonnay is a full-bodied white wine, so pairings can be a little on the bolder side. Our customers love pairing their glass of Chardonnay with spicy Diavolo pasta, a rustic Vodka Cream Sauce pasta dish, or a comforting Twice Baked pizza.
Thursday is the last day of our weekly wine specials, and we send off each week with a bang using our Pinot Noir. Pinot Noir is notably rustic, which is why we love pairing it with some of our more rustic dishes. A few fan favorite pairings include our Humble Pie, Pepperoni Pizza, or Ravioli. If you’re pairing with an appetizer, we’d suggest trying a glass of Pinot Noir with our Scamorza!
At Bucceto’s, our Italian restaurant Bloomington, Indiana is always ready to give you the full Italian eating experience. We can’t wait to see how you’ll transport yourself to Italy during your next visit!
