On the customer side of things, our pizza delivery is pretty simple and straightforward. You go onto our Bucceto’s website, you choose delivery, you browse the menu, and you checkout. The next thing you know – your pizza is at your door. Have you ever wondered what that looks like on our side? We want to break down our Bucceto’s pizza delivery process.
Once you place your order and checkout, we’re notified on our Bucceto’s computer system. This is what lets us know we have a pizza delivery order in the queue, and it shows us what food makes up the order, who the order is for, your information, and where we need to go to get you your hot and fresh Bucceto’s pie.
If you’re ordering on a slower day or during a slower time, our kitchen will get started right away on your Bucceto’s pizza delivery. If you’re ordering on a busy day, your place in line begins as soon as your order is entered. Paying close attention to your specific order and any special requests you may have made, we get down to business making the dough for your crust. Our traditional crust uses wholesome unbleached wheat flour, while our gluten-free crust uses no gluten rice flour instead.
After your dough is ready to go, we spoon on our delicious house made Bucceto’s pizza sauce. For our traditional pies, we use our traditional sauce, which is made using tomato, herbs, and just a touch of parmesan cheese. For vegan pizza, we sub out our traditional sauce for our tomato sauce instead. Our tomato sauce is just like our traditional, but we leave out the parmesan to keep it vegan-friendly.
With the dough and the sauce ready, it’s time for your blanket of cheese. Our traditional pies use a traditional mozzarella cheese blend, while our vegan pizza uses a cheese blend made from nut-based dairy. We’ve carefully selected our vegan cheese blend to have the same flavor, texture, and pull as our traditional dairy cheese.
We have dozens of toppings at Bucceto’s, so we make sure to take special care in making sure we get yours just right. Double checking your order, we cover your pizza with the toppings you’ve chosen. After your fresh toppings have been carefully arranged, it’s time to fire it all up in our pizza oven.
After your Bucceto’s pizza delivery is finished cooking, we box it up, attach your receipt, and get ready to send it over to you.
